What type of products can Dallco produce?With more than 84 years of experiance Dallco has produced items made from knits, wovens, vinyls, nylons, coated fabrics, ballistic nylons, mesh etc.) If it's made with a needle and thread Dallco can make it, sometimes we don't even need the thread. We have the equipment and the know how to manufacture just about any product. What do I need to get started? A few things that would be helpful to getting started would be: Finished sample Patterns to be used Material specifications Trim specifications Quantity of order Delivery date What is the process to having production done by Dallco? The first step would be to have the items listed in the answer to "What do I need to get started?". Once we've reviewed those items with the customer a sample of the product will be made and submitted along with a quote. After a price is agreed on, all the necessary items to complete the product are ordered and received. Once we have everything we need, a delivery date is assigned and the product is spread and cut. Then a top of production sample is made and sent to the customer for approval. After approval of the top of production sample, the order is completed to customer specifications, audited to assure specifications and delivered to a location designated by the customer. Is there a charge for samples? There is not a charge for us to make a sample provided the customer has the proper information and Dallco does the production. The customer must provide finished patterns, materials and specifications. When these items are not supplied or Dallco does not do the production, the customer is charged for the sample. We take pride in our ability to work with our customers during the sample making process to develop the most cost effective construction, maintain the highest level of quality and preserve the original concept of the product. Is there a minimum order quantity? Our minimum order quantity is 300 pieces per construction type. We can produce any quantity our customers want, however, orders of less than 300 pieces will increase the cost to produce the items substantially. Orders of 300 or more pieces allow us to quote a better rate, which allows our customers to be competitive with their prices. Does Dallco supply all materials? When Dallco supplies the materials for an order it is considered a manufacturing account. When the customer provides the materials it is considered a contract labor account (we're only selling labor). New or smaller accounts are usually considered contract labor and the customer provides the materials. This is to help reduce costs to the customer. When we supply the materials the price is increased to compensate for researching, sample ordering/review, ordering, inspection etc. of the materials. With more than 84 years of manufacturing experience, we can provide contacts for our customers to source their materials and if they desire we can source their materials for them. Rates for sourcing can be submitted upon request. Dallco does maintain an inventory of trim items such as webbing, Velcro, buttons, elastics, etc. These can be supplied to contract labor accounts without excessive cost. How soon can Dallco deliver my order? Our delivery time is 3 to 4 weeks depending on factors such as raw materials, construction type, equipment, etc. Where will my product be produced? Dallco has committed to being 100% Made In America production. All our facilities are in the U.S.A. We welcome our customers to visit our facilities, meet our people and see their production being completed on the production floor. We can provide sourcing for off shore production, however, we would not be a part of that venture. What are the payment terms? On new accounts where we have not yet established a working relationship with the customer, we request 1/2 down at time of order and 1/2 paid prior to order shipment. Once a working relationship is established, contract labor account terms are 10 days net and manufacturing account terms are 30 days net. Does Dallco provide warehousing for raw materials and finished product? Dallco provides warehousing for raw materials and finished products in a clean, secure and environmentally-controlled atmosphere. We maintain detailed records of the inventory and can provide updated records at any time via fax, email or phone. Can Dallco handle distribution of my product? We can ship finished product to either commercial or residential customers. Because of the volume of our shipping we usually receive a much lower rate than our customers from the major delivery companies such as Fed Ex or UPS. Who do I contact at Dallco?
